2 Mug Monday Each of these three sentences contains one or more errors. Find the errors and correct the sentences. 1. Gerard decided to trace his ancestral roots, and ethnic identity. 2. His research proved to be challenging, but interesting. 3. He interviewed relatives, and searched for information on the internet.

3 The Elevator by William Sleator Take your literature books from beneath your desks. Open the books to page 27 You will need a blank sheet of paper and a writing utensil

4 Creative Tuesday You hide in the museum bathrooms until the building is closed and everyone is gone. What is the first thing you do? Do you touch everything you possibly can or go exploring in the back rooms? Don’t forget to watch out for security guards!

6 Riddle Wednesday 1. What invention lets you look right through a wall? 2. What has holes but holds water? 3. What has to be broken before it can be used? 4. What is at the beginning of eternity, the end of time, and the beginning of every ending?

7 You will need a blank sheet of paper. Draw the plot diagram. Label all of the events that took place in the exposition, the inciting incident, the rising action, and the climax. Fill in the rest of the plot diagram with what you think happened in the rest of the story. Use the Stickman or list the six senses to develop the sensory details Martin would experience in the end of your story.
