4 Enabling Grids for E-sciencE INFSO-RI-031688 EGEE User forum - Manchester 9-11 May 2007 4 EGEE User Forum 9-11 May 2007 Manchester, UK Abstract submission opening day: 1 st December 2006 Abstract submission deadline: 31 January 2007 www.eu-egee.org/uf2 The programme committee solicits contributions with a focus on the users experience and plans in using the EGEE infrastructure Important topics will include data access, interactive usage, workload and workflows Abstracts discussing the experiences from the resource-provider community (as computing centres in the EGEE infrastructure) are also welcome. We are considering to host a session on grid monitoring The event programme will provide opportunities for oral presentations, poster sessions and on-line demonstrations. There will be substantial periods defined for discussions

This should include the scale of both the work and the potential user community, and also the possible relevance for other scientific or business applications –Describe the key Grid services which are essential for the application, and the achievements so far on EGEE. –Summarise the main issues encountered, or expected, in using the EGEE infrastructure, and highlighting any limitations in performance and functionality. –Presentation type (oral/poster/demo)
