2. In 2008, 2009, & 2010, respectively, 71.3%, 65.6%, and 69.8% of Longwood students surveyed used alcohol within a 30 day period. The amount of alcohol consumption decreased in 2009 and then increased in 2010 back to just below where it began in 2008. Overall there is a slight decline in the monthly use of alcohol, but it did stay relatively stagnant. 3. In 2008, 2009, & 2010, respectively, 20.1%, 12.3%, and 22.5% of Longwood students surveyed used cigarettes within a 30 day period. The amount of cigarettes smoked decreased in 2009 and then increased in 2010 two % more than in 2008. Overall there is an increase in in cigarette use in the 3 year period, however the use did drop slightly in 2009. The amount of marijuana consumed increased in 2009 and then decreased in 2010 back to just below where it began in 2008. The amount of alcohol consumed increased in 2009 and 2010 increasing over 4 times the amount from 2008. Due to the small percentages this graph is on a one percent scale. None of the data exeeds one percent.
