Perfect for starting them off in computing, great for taking notes and keeping in touch with friends, and a neat introduction to the more expensive laptops. Students can use netbooks to replace textbooks. Netbooks are great if you’re any sort of traveler on the move as they are perfect for simple tasks like basic spreadsheets, word processing, emails and quick access to the Net.
