1 E. Napp I Am A Desert In this project, students will be able to: Identify characteristics of a desert State the effects of deserts on the development of cultures Write a monologue as a desert explaining the characteristics and effects of deserts

2 E. Napp A desert is a region that is arid. It experiences little rainfall. It has sparse vegetation.

3 E. Napp A desert may be hot or cold. A desert may have vast regions of sand or rocks.

4 E. Napp However, deserts are always dry or arid.
