Collision Course Two cars are on a collision course, heading straight at each other. One car is traveling at 50 miles per hour and the other at 70 miles per hour. How far apart will the two cars be one minute before they collide? Another two cars, also on a collision course are traveling at 64miles per hour and 78 miles per hour. How far apart will they be 1 minute before they collide?

If two cars are traveling at speeds of V 1 and V 2 miles per hour respectively, how far apart will they be 1 minute before they collide? How far apart will they be ‘t’ minutes before they collide? Use your result to find how far apart two cars traveling at 82mph and 56mph will be 2 minutes before they collide? If two cars are travelling at 80mph and 68mph and are on a collision course, how far apart will the two cars be 10 seconds before they collide?
