Grading: Effort Effort grades are determined through the following matrix.  100 – 91: Exceeds all classroom and homework expectations… does supplementary assignments and study’s material outside of study hall hours. Current with all assignments. Assignments reflect personal excellence.  90 – 81: Meets all classroom and homework expectations. Current with 90%+ of all assignments. Doesn’t need to be reminded about late assignments. Assignments mostly reflect personal excellence.  80 – 71: Falls short of classroom and homework expectations. Current with only 80%+ of all assignments. Needs to be reminded once about late assignments. Assignments reflect some personal excellence.  70 – 65: Falls significantly short of classroom and homework expectations. Current with only 70%+ of all assignments. Needs to be reminded two or three times about late assignments. May need specially assigned time to complete assignments.. Assignments reflect very little personal excellence.  64 – 55: Failing the class. Current with only less than 70% of all assignments. Needs specially assigned time to complete assignments. Assignments reflect hardly any personal excellence.
