Ephesians 6:10-14 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 1

13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 2

He Undermine God’s Character, Credibility, and Activity on our behalf. He Confuses us with False Teaching. 3

Satan and his cohorts attack us to make it hard to live the Christian Life 4

8 How Does a person get right with God?

9 Sin Separates a person from God.

10 All have Sinned and fallen short of God. The Wages of sin is Death

Men seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. Romans 10:3,4 11

If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9,10 12

God has chosen You are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption 1 Cor 1:27ff 13

For God made Christ who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Cor. 5:21 14

Paul had it right! It is not about me having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith. Philippians 3:7-9 15

Do you have it right? It is not about us having our own righteousness. It is about us having the righteousness of Christ through faith in Christ. It is what Christ has Done not what we are Doing. 16

More lies More Confusion More Doubt More Accusations The Battle Continues 17

What is Done results in our Doing 18

1 Peter 2:23-25 Christ committed Himself to God who judges righteously; 24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness. 19

Romans 6 Pg. 833 20

1 Timothy 6:11-12 11 You, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called 21

2 Timothy 2:22 22 Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 22

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 23
