2. Habitat/Reproduction
The Deunkleosteus were born during the Devonian period, around 100 million years before dinosaurs.
They lived in inshore waters in North America, Poland, Belguim and Morrocco.
It is not known how many offspring they produce each year.
They were the first to internalize fertilization.

3. Size
Because the Dunkleosteus was a prehistoric fish, it was one of the largest.
Weight ranged from 3-4 tons (almost as much as three African elephants).
They ranged from feet.

4. Diet The Dunkleosteus was a carnivorous fish. It ate any small fish
Also were cannibals in times where they had no food
They would regurgitate the bones from the smaller fish they ate, they would never fully digest any bones.
Because of their size, they were not hunted.

5. Unique facts They had a think body, made of plates
They did not have teeth, instead had gnathal plates.
They were extremely slow at swimming, because of their large bodies.
It could only open its mouth for 1/50th of a second.

6. Types of Dunkleosteus Terrelli- the largest.
Marsaisi - Almost as big as the Terrelli, but differed in snout size
Amblyodoratus - had a blunt spear for the nose.
Raveri - The smallest Dunkleosteus, possibly 1 meter in length.
