3. Adobe Serial Number Dist. Adobe serial numbers have been a primary point of issue when ordering Adobe products. Serial number delivery has been a slow and/or arcane process. Site Licensing has secured permission to distribute all serial numbers for all products internally to support personnel.

4. Minitab Distribution Changes In June, discussions around distribution occurred. –Paper agreements were time-consuming and heavy –Distribution of codes via e-mail is inconvenient OCIO is piloting a resolution with Minitab –Previously, available on CD, with paper agreement, and codes via e-mail

5. Minitab 16 Changes Minitab 16 is available on the download site. Downloads are tracked, codes and software are bundled together Why Minitab? –“Free” product –Campus-wide –Small in size –Involves everything we want to move away from.

7. OCIO Advisory Community Meeting Current software distribution can be improved. Certain software that require the faculty member to personally pick up at service desk. Some software titles are too large to allow electronic downloads. Establish Software Coordinator at each Regional Campus Site License Advisory team provides testing, advice and recommendation of software needs. We need to focus on Adobe, Altirus & LanDesk & SCCM, software metering, and asset management solutions. Adobe costs, asset tracking, and purchasing methods are problematic. Coordinate a discussion between Dell, Adobe senior officials, and the site license advisory team in September.
