2 Socially Irresponsible Company Piece of Clothing: Scarf Company Manufacturer: Guess Clothing Store Purchased from: Guess Clothing Made in: China Story: My scarf was manufactured by Guess. The company of Guess do support sweatshops and have their items made by hand. They have young ladies starting at 15 years old – 25years old sew all their clothes for them. They work at a very strict paste with only receiving $2 an hour. They recently discovered that they got 80 immigrants that were forced to sew brand-name clothing in a compound behind razor wire and armed guards. Guess company have similar work rules and environment as Nike, Wal-Mart, Liz Claiborne etc.

3 GUESS who makes your clothes..... young women who get paid cents and hour.

4 Socially Responsible Company Piece of Clothing: Graphic Shirt Company Manufacturer: Aeropostale Store Purchased from: Aeropostale Made in: Guatemala Story: My shirt was manufactured by Aeropostale. Aeropostale doesn’t have sweatshops all of their clothing is factory made. All of their workers are treated fairly and are paid right. So you can feel good about shopping there because no one is working overtime and not getting paid unfairly.
