2. What is SofTest?  SofTest is a test-taking software by ExamSoft  Very similar to LockDown Browser Will be used for Multiple Choice questions on exams this semester

3. Where to find SofTest v11  The desktop icon is shown on the right  If the icon is NOT on the desktop: Start  All Programs  SofTest v11

4. Login to ExamSoft  You should all have received an email with your username and password  Enter your credentials into the window shown here:

5. Exams in SofTest  Under “Available Exams” you will see the exams available for you to “download”  The “Mock Exam” is available for you to practice using SofTest before your exam  We will walk through this together now

6. Downloading an Exam  Select the exam from the list and select “Download”  You should see this window if the download is completed  Hit “OK”  Next, hit “Done”

7. Taking an Exam  Select “Take an Exam”

8. Entering the Password  You need to enter a password to take the exam  The password will be released by the instructor for you to enter into the dialog box  For the Mock Exam, the password is: Spring16

10. Starting the Exam  Type “Begin” into the dialog box or press the button “Type Begin for Me”

11. Closing the Exam

12. Uploading Your Results  Select “Exit and Upload”  You will receive confirmation by email

13. Closing out of SofTest  After you see the following 2 windows, ExamSoft will restore your computer and you can continue to do work  Your answers are recorded in the system

14. More Practice?  The “Mock Exam” will be available thru Sunday’s review session  Each student can take the exam up to 3 times  Highly encourage practicing this during the review session on the computers in HI 308 or HI 224  The Multiple Choice for the exam will follow this same process
