The lack of legal basis for sustainable soil and soil quality protection is clearly visible. Currently there are no specific laws, neither at BiH nor entity-level that directly addresses protection of soil. Problem of land degradation and desertification to various degrees is addressed by the Entities through adoption of different legal documents as.
