1. The Czech Association of Scientific and Technical Societies (ČSVTS) -a civic association -made up of 69 independent scientific and technical associations - the founder of The Houses of Technology, Ltd. in regions of the Czech Republic

2. The ČSVTS’s goal is to promote the interests of its members. It carries out its mission: by organizing educational events of special interest to its members providing them with economic and consulting services, assisting them in organizing and publicizing conferences and educational events of their own, and in a variety of other ways.

3. The Houses of Technology, Ltd. In the regions they: offer technical and general education organize conferences and seminars They are located in Plzeň, Pardubice, České Budějovice, Ostrava and Kladno.

4. International Cooperation ČSVTS and its associations are members of 34 international technical organizations ČSVTS represents the Czech Republic in the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO), ČSVTS is a member of the European Federation of National Engineering Associations (FEANI) Regional Council of Coordination of Central and East- European Engineering Organizations (RCC) ČSVTS has concluded bilateral international agreements of cooperation with partners in Germany (VDI), Slovakia (ZSVTS), Portugal (OEP) and China (CAST)
