2. English has six tenses. Three are simple, & three are perfect (complete): presentpresent perfect I talk, he talksI have talked, he has talked pastpast perfect I talkedI had talked futurefuture perfect I will talkI will have talked

3. As a native speaker of English, you should instinctively recognize the present & the past. Most past tense verbs end in –d: jumped called Most 3 rd person present tense verbs end in –s: (he) jumps (he) calls

4. ALL future tense verbs have will: I will eat she will see they will run All present perfect tense verbs have has or have: I have eatenshe has seen they have run All past perfect tense verbs have had: I had eaten she had seen they had run All future perfect tense verbs have will (like the future) + have: I will have eaten she will have seen
