1 Classroom Expectations 3 rd Grade ELA and Social Studies Mrs. Byrd

2 A Word From Mrs. Byrd I am a wife, mother, and dedicated educator! I have been married for almost 10 years and I am the proud mother of my very own Marek Marlin, Cameron. My favorite pastimes are spending time with family, reading, traveling, and painting with friends! I attended UH-Downtown and UH-Central Campus, and I am a Cougar fan, through and through. I have been a part of the Marek family since 2012, and each year gets better and better! I am so excited to work with all of you this year! Teaching is truly my passion and I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for all of us! I am always here to help and answer any questions. Please feel free to contact me at any time, should you have any questions or concerns! Together we can make this a great year!

3 Student Behaviors Be prompt  Be ready to learn when class begins. Be prepared  Have materials with you and know due dates. I will promptly correct and offer feedback on your work. I will work with you to meet learning goals. I will offer extra help and alternative assessments should you require them.
