1. “A Feel Of Santiago” Charity Walk-A-Thon By: Bradley Corey P.1

2. Events and Route Our events are the 5k,10k,Half marathon, and full marathon and will all be held near the Santiago high school area ( Rimpau Ave. and E Chase Dr,) This will take place on January 18 th,2014

3. The size of the route So our base for the route is about 1,600ft, and our length is about 800ft so if we put it into an equation like so: a(2)+b(2)=c(2),then 1,600*1,600=25,600…and 800*800=6,400 it sums up to c=32,000ft(2).

4. Volunteers and Costs We will need about 30 people to volunteer,2 people per stands, meaning that there is 15 stands. Anyone that is aged 10+ can join as a volunteer and for you high school students or any student that needs community service hours, This is your perfect opportunity!! In this dire time of need we will need to raise about $10,000 dollars for use of property,$1,000 for food and water, so the total is $11,000 needed for this to happen

5. “A Feel of Santiago” Marketing plan Have you ever felt like helping charity? Well this is the perfect chance for you! We will have refreshment stands and a cash prize of $10 for doing both the 5k and the 10k and $20 for both the half marathon and the full marathon. (only eligible for the first 20 people, per event)

6. Our communication plan So the way we will communicate with our volunteers and participants is by either a robotic phone call, email, or by (in special circumstances) mail. On these messages it will tell the time and date to be there and what to bring.

7. Fun Facts: There is a beautiful view of the city The streets are nice and smooth (as of now) One of the best spots to see a sunset One of the first (if any) marathons near or at Santiago high We may have In-N-out cooking hamburgers!!!!plus we will be sponsored by starbucks coffee and Nike sports gear who will also be selling merchandise because it might be a cold day
