7 1. The Source of Spiritual Gifts. All three members of the Trinity are the source of spiritual gifts.

13 Gifts are expressed differently based on each individual’s particular environment and deployed through your personality and individuality.

14 Each of us will have differing degrees of effectiveness utilizing our gifts Each of us will have differing degrees of effectiveness utilizing our gifts.

15 Effectiveness is not a measure of servant-hood, it is merely God's will for the faithful servant.

16 You cannot determine your gift by studying this subject in the Bible. You must find your gift and specific service by ministering and obeying the commands of Scripture to serve one another.

17 You cannot identify your gift by comparing yourself with others because the ministry of every Christian is unique.

18 As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of the varied grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10-11

19 You can not be a good steward of your spiritual gift without knowing what that gift is.

20 Specific action to discover your Spiritual Gift.

21 a. Pray, ask God to make your ministry and your gift evident. Phil 4:6; 1 Peter 4:7-10; 1 Cor 14:13

22 b. Study the Scriptures, note the commands of the Bible, and ask God to give you insight into specific ways you may put the imperatives of the Bible into practice. 2 Tim 2:15

23 2 Tim 2:15 (KJV), “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

24 c. Look for needs about you and consider how you may meet those needs. 1 Cor 10:24; 14:12

25 1 Cor 10:24, “Let no one seek his own good, but that of his neighbor.”

26 1 Cor 14:12, “So also you, since you are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek to abound for the edification of the church.”

27 d. Be sure you are filled with the Spirit when entering into service. You can not exercise your Spiritual Gift without the filling of God the Holy Spirit. Eph 5:18-21

28 Before beginning each day, consider a particular place that you are going to and serve as the moment presents itself.
