2. Cinderella’s Case Intentional Torts False Imprisonment: Cinderella was locked in a room while the Prince was looking for her. Intentional Infliction of Mental distress: Cinderella was inflicted with a low self esteem due to her step sisters and step mother’s taunting and verbal abuse. Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress: Cinderella experienced stress and anxiety due to the chores inflicted upon her.

3. Cinderlella’s Evidence (Plaintiff) 1. Cinderella was imprisoned in the attic of the house at the prince’s arrival. 2. Cinderella had to do all of the house work and chores, enslaved by her step sisters and step mother against her free will. 3. Cinderella was taunted by her step- family which created a low self-esteem.

4. Negligence With the step-families understanding they locked Cinderella in the attic when the Prince came knowing that he was looking for her. The step-mother did this for her daughter’s benefit.

5. Proof of Tort Duty: It was the step mothers responsibility to provide a safe environment for her step daughter and treat her as an equal to her biological daughters. Breach: The step mother made Cinderella sleep in the dilapidated attic, perform all chores and imprisoned her when the Prince was coming as well as taunting her about how she will never see the Prince again because she was not worthy. Causation: These acts were performed to benefit the step mothers biological daughters. Damages: Emotional, Physical, Mental, and Romantic distress along with just plain stress.

7. Intolerant Acts 1. Cinderella had the duties of a typical teenager. 2. Cinderella was provided with food, water, warmth and shelter. 3. Cinderella had friends to talk to and be supported by (mice). 4. Had consequences of a typical teenager which lead to Cinderella not being allowed to attend the Ball.

8. Cinderella’s Damages Cinderella is suing for a total of $75,000 $15,000 for False Imprisonment $30,000 for Negligence $30,000 for Stress and Child Labor

9. Cinderella’s Closing At an early age I was left to fend for myself due to the tragic deaths of both my parents. I knew was not welcome by my new step family due to the amount of labor and taunting that received. I was not able to have a typical childhood like my step sisters due to the lack of affection and when I did have the chance to escape the situation I was wrongly imprisoned in my room by my step mother knowing that I was going to have a happily ever after.

10. Step-Families Closing Cinderella did not perform all of her chores that is realistic for a teenager/young woman of her age. We provided her with all that she needed and she still was ungrateful for all that we did. She disobeyed me when I drew the final line and said she could not go to the ball until all of her chores were finished and yet she still went. We also believe that she is a little unstable because she talks to the animals more than the people around her. Our actions were reasonable in consideration of the situation.
