1 OPNFV Plugfest Planning Dovetail Project 1/29/2016

2 Plugfest: An industry event allowing companies and implementers an opportunity to test interoperability of products/projects being developed according to a common plan (i.e. a standard). A plugfest event tends to be unique, where companies are at the same site with similar resources / goals. Testing scope and plans should take advantage of this opportunity, to provide value to attendees beyond the testing they might undertake on their own outside of a plugfest. Plugfest Definition

3 OPNVF Turn-up Target Participants: Hardware Suppliers, Integrators, Installation Development Team(s) Testing Scope: Validation of installation process on different hardware platforms and configurations. SDN Integration: Target Participants: SDN Controllers Testing Scope: Validation of SDN controller integration, coupled with install process testing above. VNF Applications: Target Participants: VNF suppliers Testing Scope: Provide underlying infrastructure and resources to help application provider verify the life cycle management on the OPNFV platform. Testing of the application is outside of the scope of this event. Note, this work item is a lower priority for the first plugfest, with active marketing aimed at the first two work items. The infrastructure for this work item would be provided by the Proposed Scope – May 2016
