2.  Henry Ford was born July 30, 1863 in Dearborn Michigan.  Ford was the oldest out of five brothers and sisters.  At an early age, Henry ford had an interest for mechanical work.  When Henry Ford turned 16 he left home and worked as a mechanic apprentice in a nearby city in Detroit.

3.  Henry Ford divided his time repairing steam engines, finding occasional work in a Detroit factory, and over-hauling his father's farm implements.  Henry Ford got married in 1888 to a woman named Clara Bryant. He supported his family by working in a sawmill.  Henry Ford became an engineer with the Edison Illuminating Company in Detroit.

4.  Henry Ford invented the Quadricycle in 1896, it had 4 wire wheels that looks like four bicycle wheels, and only had two speeds with no reverse.  Although Ford was not the first to build a self- propelled vehicle with a gasoline engine, he was, however, one of several automotive pioneers who helped this country become a nation of motorists.
