2  Nothing greater can cause us dissatisfaction  No disaster can take it away from us

3 “Upon gaining this he thinks there is no greater gain. Being situated in such a position, one is never shaken, even in the midst of greatest difficulty.”

4 Life is a journey. But we often stay on emotionally at stations that we have passed physically long ago.

5 Do thou fight for the sake of fighting, without considering happiness or distress, loss or gain, victory or defeat—and by so doing you shall never incur sin.

6 3. Be concerned, not disturbed by change No external change can: 1. Harm our essence, our indestructible souls 2. Stop Krishna from loving us 3. Stop us from remembering Krishna and experiencing his loving shelter.

7 3. Be concerned, not disturbed by change (2.16) Those who are seers of the truth have concluded that of the nonexistent [the material body] there is no endurance and of the eternal [the soul] there is no change. This they have concluded by studying the nature of both.

8 4. Searching for the villain can’t help us in finding the hero(16.3) Finding the worst in others can’t help us in finding the best in ourselves; finding the plan of Krishna can
