3 G C Am F Dm Em L01: Warm up. The aim is to prepare for your practical and symbols revision assessment. In pairs, with your instrument – play the chords. (extra play the scale), follow a rhythm And add a few mystery symbols ….. ‘ Blues JAM!! Add a Rhythm to each one ON BOTH Hands. Create your own ‘MINI piece L01: Scale of C!, Chords in the scale! 12 Bar Blues ( play in a different pattern). H/W: Write a ‘Blues song/Rap about YOU, Day in the life, or a Hobbie / interest you LOVE OR HATE! Verse x2 & Chorus!) play the scale), follow a rhythm And add a few mystery symbols ….. ‘ Blues JAM!!

5 BIG QUESTIONS What are the major and minor chords in the key of C Major? CLUE Internals I IV V How are the chords in the key of C major being played on the piano? CLUE Fingers Are there other ways of playing the chords on the piano except the chordal style?

6 LO2-3: you assess yourself and your peers, using the correct musical terms. Can Listen, Assess, Suggest with Respect. Listener assessor: Mark every group, give suggestions 2 XX and 1 wish! PASS AND SHARE! BLOG questions to complete and evaluations Performer: ‘ How did it go?, ‘what Grades would you give your piece? (describe why). How is your piece linked to blues…? What have you learnt today?

7 L02-3: Journal – Write your evaluation. Please look at the blog, to remind you of how to write your ‘full evaluation’. SYMBOLS: You have learnt!.. Next week…your writing your own piece!!..
