The teams in the original six are the New York rangers, Boston bruins, Toronto maple leafs, Detroit red wings, Montreal Canadians, and the Chicago Blackhawks.

3.  The owner of the New York Rangers is James L. Dolan. He was born in 1956. He is the owner right now of the new York rangers and the executive chairman of the Madison square garden.

4.  The new York rangers have been around for a long time, they have won 4 Stanley cup champions. They have also won 1 conference title and 7 division titles. The new York rangers have never changed the name of the team before since they where founded.

5.  The new York rangers team colors are red, white, and blue. Just like the flag of the united states of America. The new York rangers have never changed there jersey very much. There jerseys have never changed colors different from red white and blue.
