3 3  Harvesting Publications  Uploading University of Melbourne Publications from external databases to Themis  Thomson/ISI  Scopus  SciNet  Uploading Books, Book Chapters, Journal Articles, Conference Publications Background

4 4  Publications matched on name and UoM Affiliation  Matched records uploaded into Themis  Authors and Publications Coordinators notified by automated email  Authors or Publications Coordinators add in Research Codes How Harvesting Works

5 5  Go into the Themis Publications Module through Research Self Service  Check that the harvested record contains the correct bibliographic details  Check that your author details are correct, including your affiliation What You Need to Do Check that your author affiliation is assigned to the correct department

6 6 Add Research Codes Add in the Research Codes Click for more information on FOR & SEO CodesFORSEO At least one FOR and one SEO code must be entered

7 7 Attach Publication If you have a pdf version of the publication or link to an external website, attach it to the record

8 8 Assign an Owning Department Assign an owning department Choose your department as the owning department

9 9 Submit the Publication Click on the Verify button Click on the Submit button to send the publication to your Publications Coordinator
