2 Task One: Reflection (Due January 7 th ) In a page (approximately) think about and discuss some (4+) of your favourite toys as a child. Consider the following: Consider the following: What made them appealing to you? What features did they have that made them fun/interactive? Were they part of a story (generated by a toy company) or was imaginative play involved? Why do they stick out in your memory?

3 Task Two:Research (Due January 9th) Find examples of three different toy lines (past or present) and for each complete the following: Who is its target audience, age? 4 Task Three: Toy line design (Due January 16 th ) Create an original story idea (setting & characters—3/4 of a page) and discuss the following: who the toys are designed for (age group) who the toys are designed for (age group) what they are made of what they are made of how your designs would appeal to your target audience. how your designs would appeal to your target audience.
