Writing Goals is a God Thing “…Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by” (Habakkuk 2:2 Amp.) We Write the Vision with our Goals

Remember: No Works, No Faith “…that faith apart from [good] works in inactive and ineffective and worthless?” (Amp. James 2:20b) Walk out your faith with Your Goals

Make Your Vision Plain DeadlinesLogic MeasuresDetails Exactly what you want Chart Your Progress Use Timeframes Be Rational

Be Specific

Be Detailed Say exactly what you want to do Not Specific I will lose weight I will earn more money I will go back to school Specific I will lose 30 pounds I will earn an additional $500 a month I will get my degree in Marketing

Details are instructions to your subconscious brain Your Subconscious Brain Your subconscious brain works based on the instructions you give it. Without specific instructions, it will not work for you.

Measure Your Progress “Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, and look well to your herds.” (Proverbs 27:23 Amp.) The only way to know what is working and what is failing is by charting your progress.

Be Logical & Realistic Some goals take years. Plan your work and work your plan. Move towards your target with consistency and logic.

Schedule Your Plans Life happens. Be flexible, but begin with a schedule. Change when necessary, but know where you are at all times with every goal you set. That way, when life does happen, you can alter your plans as necessary and keep right on moving forward.

Work With God In 2016 “Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? Isaiah 43:19 Perceive it through Vision Know it with Intellect Receive it by Faith
