5 Landforms Landforms: This region has basins (large areas of low land), mountains and mountain ranges, and deserts. The Mountains and Basins region is in the western corner of Texas. Go back, partner!

Climate: This region is the driest region in Texas. It is warm most of the time, but has cool nights. Vegetation: There are pine forests in the mountains, and short grasses and shrubs in the basins. Go back, partner!
