21. Metadata Editor Tool The Metadata Editor Investigator enters metadata in prompted fields or chooses from picklists. The Editor formats the metadata. Metadata Produces the metadata file.

25. To Save a Metadata File Go to FILE, SAVE AS, and name your file.

26. When ready to share your data set, click the “yes” button. The next night Mercury will automatically harvest the metadata and add it to the index.
