As respectful Exhibitors we:  accept and are tolerant of exhibitors that show species and breeds different from our own.  value and honor the decisions of judges and show officials.  regard the property of other exhibitors, the show facility and equipment.  keep our animals’ pens clean and dry.  are courteous and polite to fellow exhibitors and barn visitors. 2 As trustworthy Exhibitors we:  are honest about animal birth records and possession dates.  display good character in both winning and losing.  take care of our obligations by paying breeder, veterinarian and feed bills.  will not use dishonest practices to enhance our animal’s appearance, size, weight, feel or behavior.  treat our animals with respect and dignity. 3 As responsible Exhibitors we:  provide adequate housing and care for our animals.  use only approved medications for our animals.  provide ample food and water for our animals.  work with our animals so that they are calm and can be moved and handled in ways that do not interfere or place in danger fellow exhibitors or animals.  adhere to show and sale times and schedules. 4 As fair Exhibitors we:  share time and use of limited resources, such as water.  follow guidelines and ethics for exhibiting and positioning our animals in the show ring.  encourage fellow exhibitors at all times.  make fair decisions by using the same rules for everyone.  follow show and sale rules and regulations. 5 As caring Exhibitors we:  are aware of our animal’s needs.  consider the needs and requests of fellow exhibitors.  assist first time or younger exhibitors by freely sharing equipment, time and support.  assist fellow exhibitors without expecting anything in return.  express gratitude to people even for the smallest things they do.
