4.  Engage your sources ◦ Read, highlight, take notes, conduct interview, print out information  Extract relevant information ◦ What information do I expect to find in this source? ◦ What information from the source is useful?

5.  Organize information from multiple sources ◦ Create an outline ◦ Write your essay ◦ Assemble your presentation ◦ Organize your bibliography  Putting it all together!

6.  Judge the product  Judge the process ◦ Your friend/relative edits your paper ◦ Your teacher assigns the final product a grade ◦ You think about what went well in the research process and what could be improved
