Culture Notes: If tourists have some local money left before their departure, they are advised to keep it until they get home and exchange it there. The way they will have the local money for any last- minute expenses.

13 Consolidation  Role-play You are a tour leader traveling with a group in Australia. One of your group members wants to change 200 US dollars into Australian dollars. Help him and make up a dialogue between you and bank teller.

14 Assignments 1.Learn by heart the dialogue “inquiring about the exchange rate” and then practice the dialogue in pair. 2. Go to the internet or check newspaper to search for the current foreign currency exchange rate, esp. USD, HKD etc.
