We are here to provide financial assistance to those facing long term challenging circumstances or to bridge the gap when life has taken an unexpected turn. We have helped thousands of families working in the fashion and textile industry since 1853 and are proud to call Her Majesty The Queen our patron. Supporting families since 1853

3 If you work in any of these jobs, we could help you …

4 Grants start at £250… The first step for most families, is to apply for a small grant between the value of £250-£500*. You can apply using one short application form, with simple qualifying information. These grants are here to help cover the cost of specific items such as school uniforms, bedding, clothing, furniture etc. In most cases, applications can be turned around in 14 days. *Larger grants are available, however will require more in-depth financial information to be provided.

6 Lisa is Mum to twin boys, Carone and Cameo (11). As a single parent of four children, Lisa was struggling to balance bills and the cost of the uniforms was just too much to handle by herself. After finding FTCT on Lisa contacted us and received £250, for new school uniforms. “I found that by asking for help my perception of myself changed and now I feel good about myself. I am proud to know I did the best by my boys. I no longer feel embarrassed, I could tell my friends and family about what I had begun to do and I no longer had to keep my situation hidden” Lisa, Carone and Cameo’s story

7 Who can apply? You must currently work or have previously worked in the UK fashion and textile industry You must be the parent or full time carer for a child aged 0-18yrs. To apply, call our friendly team in confidence on: 0300 123 9002

8 How to apply Call us on 0300 123 9002 (mobiles charged at standard network rate) or complete online enquiry form and we will get in touch.online enquiry form Check you have proof of your trade connection. If we think we can help, an application form will be sent to you by post or email-whichever you prefer. Take your time to complete the form– there’s no deadline. If you get stuck? We’re here to help you! Once we receive your application form, a case summary will be sent to our cases team. Most decisions are made within 14 working days of receipt.
