9 SCENARIOS Scenario:Solution (s): Teacher needs to provide an electronic version of textbook to student. 1.Check to see if a CD with PDF version came with the textbook. 2.Make a request from the AT Specialist if the student is in special education. 3.Request the school purchase an electronic version of the book for the student. Teacher is covering Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet in 9 th grade literature and she would like to offer the electronic version for kids to access from her website. 1.Download from a public domain site such as www.gutenberg.orgwww.gutenberg.org Teacher prints out a poem from http://www.thecommononline.org for her class to study. He has a student in class who is visually impaired and needs enlarged material. http://www.thecommononline.org 1.Since this website works under creative commons law, the teacher can enlarge the poem and make a copy for the student. 2.The student can access the website and enlarge it herself.
