Lynn is currently employed by the University of Alabama at Birmingham as an Information System Specialist II in IT Academic Computing’s Advanced Technology Laboratory. He is the Testbed Manager for this project, and also co- editor and an author of the Video Middleware Cookbook the leading information source on deploying and developing H.350 components.

5. H.350 Deployment Case Studies IETF Frank Reinemer (Danet) Frank Reinemer works as an executive consultant in the business segment 'Managed Services Consulting' for Danet Consult GmbH in Munich. Mr. Reinemer has many years experience in the consulting areas of IT strategy, IT management and IT integration. In these areas, he has been attending to IT activities of major customers for several years. Since 2002 he supported a customer in the automotive industry and participated in collaboration projects in this industry. In particular, Mr. Reinemer has promoted IP based video conferencing solutions for that customer since the end of 2003. Mr. Reinemer was instrumental in mapping out the positioning, the plans, the specifications, the structure and the introduction of the first commercial video conferencing solution based on H.350.

6. H.350 Deployment Case Studies IETF Kewin Stoeckigt (AARnet) Kewin studied Computer science at the University of Leipzig (Germany), Goettingen (Germany) and Auckland (New Zealand). In 2002 he received is BSc (Computer science) from the University of Goettingen and he will receive his MSc in May 2005 from the University of Auckland. For the last three years he worked for the Computing Center of Max-Planck Gesellschaft in Munich, where he was responsible for the security concepts of the videoconferencing infrastructure, which includes Gatekeepers, MCUs and Directory services. His main research interest is focused on active and passive network measurement, specifically congestion control and management, real-time audio/video communication, Quality of service, communication theory and network security. Kewin is a member of IEEE, ACM, GI and RSNZ.

H.350 Deployment Case Studies IETF Larry Amiot (NWU) Larry Amiot is a Digital Video Systems Engineer at Northwestern University in Academic Technologies, and he has been instrumental in integrating digital video technology into Northwestern’s educational activities. He has held senior management positions in Argonne National Laboratory’s Computing Services Division as both Acting Division Director and Associate Division Director, and he previously held a position with Internet2. Larry is a member of the Internet2 Commons Management Team, Chairs the Internet2 Digital Video Initiative working group, and is a member of the Video Development Initiative.
