2. Action India Trust  We have planned to have a formal “Trust" which is approved by Government of India.  Then We formed “Action India Charitable Trust” which is later affiliated with IHA.  Likewise we have many Trust, Ngo and other organization in Tamilnadu and other regions of India who were affiliated with IHA.

3. Educational Aid  Poor and deserving Students were helped by Friends of India, Iceland through IHA.  We are thankful to Kjartan for his initiative and involvement for the success of the project for all these years.  Action India, carried all the help from Friends of India to our Children. We printed the name of the organization in carry bags and Printed T-shirts for the members of volunteers.

4. Visits in Tamilnadu  I have visited kanyakumari in south tamilnadu and gave the demand draft to the St.xavier school’s Principal for school children for their fees.  Visited T. nagar, Velacherry, Thellimedu, karunkuzli, Salavakkam, Salem, vadalur, for distributing note books and other materials for our children.

5. Focused in news  The educational project by Friends of India through Action India affiliated to IHA were focused by news papers.  The same project done in Ramanathapuram and other districts in south Tamilnadu, were also focused by news papers.

6. Phase I  The members of Action India, have attended the Phase I, which was facilitated by Val and Guinness in Chennai.  The total number of the attendees for the same were about 10 from various organization,who were now affiliated with IHA.

7. Phase I by Kjartan  The Phase I was conducted in the month of September which was facilitated by Kjartan.  After affiliating with IHA, Action India were interested in introducing other organization to the movement.  About 13 people attended Phase I, and some were introduced by Action India.  We have other organizations contacting to join IHA.

8. Semester meeting in July  Action India members attended the semester meeting in July 2008, through video conferencing.  John,Mr.Manoharan,Sr.Gamble and Ms.Aby have attended the meeting.  The meeting in India was successful by Mr. Michael for having gathered people in his office and arranged for the computer connection.

9. Internet Training  We thank Guinness, who have trained IHA members in internet and computers.  We Again thank Guinness, for his assistance in the formation of Action India’s Web Page with Logo and also with technical aspects and later adding it to the IHA web page.

10. Approved by Government  We From Action India,glad to announce that our trust is approved by government of India.  The forms act like( 80*g and 12*a) which is called as legal or authorization for the trust to conduct various activities in the state.
