19 Discussion Questions Small Group Speaking Activity Time: 25 minutes

20 Instructions  Get into 8 groups of 5 students each.  Each student chooses 2 questions from the list of discussion questions on page 8.  The first student asks his/her question and the other students share their opinions with the group.  You do not have to ask the questions in order.  Ask follow-up questions to keep the conversation going.  Repeat these steps for the other 4 group members.  You can also ask your own questions.  After 25 minutes, choose one student in each group to summarize the group members’ opinions about one of the questions that they discussed.
