2 The Hubble Telescope is located 353 miles above the Earth’s surface It has sent hundreds of thousands of images back to Earth The images are available to all astronomers around the world

3 The telescope orbits the Earth in 97 minutes going 5 miles per second It has determined the age of the universe, the identity of quasars, the existence of dark energy, and has shown us all ages of galaxies and how they were formed The Hubble is made of mirrors It is NASA’s longest lasting and most successful science mission
