Hotels and universities have to replace mattresses every few years Cost of trashing one lot of 240 mattresses : Ex: 240 full sized mattress sets for typical hotel remodel 560 pieces x $25/piece to recycle = $14,000 Or they dispose in dumpster: ~$5,000 disposal fees Value of saving them Trucking to us is only $750 for 3 loads 3 truckloads = 240 mattress sets back into reuse saved clients if they had to buy mattresses $90/recycled full matt x 240 = $21,600 saved ! Most would go without, rent or pay full price and end up back homeless again We provide ~ 400 kids with mattresses/year that were sleeping on the floor.
