HOT QUESTION!!!!  Investigate ways NZ parents could better protect their children to ensure their safety in water. Evaluate NZ water safety standards and explain the types of dangers that people take.

SOCIAL ACTION  To create a song about swimming safety in order to create awareness of the importance of being a safe swimmer.

Investigate ways NZ parents could better protect their children to ensure their safety in water?  It is really hard to enforce some of the water safety rules especially for your child. You can put them in your near by swimming class which will help them gain confidence and helps them understand right and wrong around and in the swimming pool.  If your child is still having trouble with enforcing the rules then get a private teacher to help them understand carefully and thoroughly.

Evaluate NZ water safety standards  Water safety is really important especially if you are out at sea or in a cruise ship or in a boat you will need to know water safety. Water safety begins at learning how to swim lengths then goes into strokes and diving and identifying a rip and which kind of waves are dangerous  You have to stay safe at swimming pools as well mainly at public swimming pools. You have to obey all rules at swimming pools, it is very important because you don’t want to have a accident at a swimming pool, you could end up in a wheelchair  No running or sprinting near the pool side  No diving or bombing into the pool  Children under the age of 10 must be actively supervised by an adult over the age of 16

Explain the types of dangers that people take in the sea and pool  The dangers they take is when parents leave their child in pools, bathtubs, beaches and rivers which is really dangerous. More children from the age of 1 – 4 are drowning in pools and bathtubs because of careless parents not thinking about the effects of their baby. You could drown in a teaspoon of water.  Your child needs constant supervision whenever they’re around water. Never turn away or leave them unattended.
