All rights reserved.2 DoD Instruction 7050.05 –Each DOD component shall monitor, from its inception, all significant investigations of fraud or corruption related to procurement activities –Ensure that all possible criminal, civil, contractual, and administrative remedies are identified to cognizant procurement and command officials and to DOJ –Ensure that appropriate remedies are pursued expeditiously –Ensure that a case-specific comprehensive remedies plan is developed for each significant investigation

All rights reserved.3 AG Memo: Department policy that DOJ prosecutors and civil attorneys timely communicate, coordinate, and cooperate to the fullest extent appropriate to the case and permissible by law, whenever an alleged offense or violation of federal law gives rise to the potential for criminal, civil, regulatory, and/or agency administrative parallel proceedings. DoDI 7050.05: When appropriate, contractual and administrative remedies should be taken before final resolution of the criminal or civil case.
