5. Connect to Your Library You will need to type in your library catalog’s URL: Destiny.cvsd.k 12.pa.us

6. Select Your School Library

7. Log In Your user name and password are your first name, underscore, last name, and your school ID number.

8. Home Screen for Catalog Search Access new arrivals, resource lists, your own personal list, or log in (if you haven’t already) from the home screen.

9. New Arrivals As new books are added to the library’s collection, they show up here.

10. Resource Lists Resource lists are created by your librarian. Is there a list you would like to see? Ask your librarian!

11. Your Bookshelf Your Bookshelf is where you keep track of what you are Now Reading, what you Want to Read, and what you Have Read.

12. Your Account When logged in, you can access information about your account: Titles on Hold, Titles Checked Out, and Fines. You can also review your Checkout History.

13. Search Results Scroll through a list of search results, and tap on the title you are interested in.

14. Title Details Title Details include the title, the author and call number, whether the book is in or out, and the rating from local library reviewers. You have the option to add it to your personal list, or to put the book on hold. There is also a description, or summary.

15. Title Details Availability at your library and other district libraries is show, as are reviews.

16. Additional Info Additional Info includes whether or not the title is saved to your bookshelf, and if so, what shelf it is on. There are also some suggestions for other books that you might like.

17. Additional Info Selecting Additional Info gives publishing and format information; targeted audiences; reading level or lexile, if available; and awards information.

18. Reviews To review a title, select the Rate This Title button.

19. Rate This Title Rate This Title allows you to rate the book from one to five stars, and to enter a comment. Comments must be approved by your librarian before they post.
