4. Injustice Rampant Killing A 29-year-old Zimbabwean refugee lives with her baby in dire poverty in Johannesburg, South Africa. After the March 2008 elections in Zimbabwe, ZANU-PF militia killed her brother and burned down her house because of her support for the opposition Movement for Democratic Change [MDC]. She said that the assailants brutally beat her, despite her being heavily pregnant at the time and left her dead. 6. Projects&Aid The UNDP will do its program of support under the active leadership of the Government of Zimbabwe and in full partnership with national partners.
