Jubilee in scripture… proclaim liberty throughout the land - the freedom that comes from being in right relationship with God and the whole created order let the land rest & lie fallow - whatever it naturally produces to be shared by all free all slaves or those in bonded work to return to their families forgive debts owing

4. Pope Francis called an Extraordinary Year of Jubilee because the world needs it: ….to refocus on right relationships with God and others in a world racked with strife ….to hear the urgent cry of the earth so that we can care for our common home
