2 If an employee replaces their SmarTrip® card due to loss or damage, you can reassign unclaimed benefits from the old card to the new card in one easy step. Here’s how you do it.

3 From the Program Management tab, click on Reassign Benefits. In the REASSIGN BENEFIT FROM SMARTRIP® CARD NUMBER field, key in the serial number of the old card. In the TO SMARTRIP® CARD NUMBER field, key in the serial number of the new card. If you made a mistake, click the RESET button to erase what you entered and start over. When finished, click SUBMIT. 4 Important Things to Remember about Reassigning Benefits If the benefit for the current month is still available, reassignment can be done immediately. If the employee has claimed their entire monthly benefit, the reassignment will occur on the 28 th day of the month. You cannot change anything else about this employee’s enrollment, such as benefit category, kickoff date, etc., at this time.

5 Now it’s your turn. You will reassign the benefits from SmarTrip® card # ____________ to SmarTrip® card # ___________________.
