4 You can’t see Traditional Japanese footwear often these days in Japan. It is usually only worn with other traditional clothing like kimono. 5 A Kimono is a traditional dress worn by the Japanese women. The Kimono is made out of very colorful silk. If girls were single the pattern does not go the waistline. Kimono don’t come in any particular sizes like many other western dresses. Most men only wear Kimonos at home.
