2. Who was that Child that was born on Christmass day? From the very words of Jesus we are going to find our who He is? Where He came from? What is His purpose? What is His authority?

3. HIS KINGDOM NOT OF THIS WORLD JN 18:33 Therefore Pilate entered again into the Praetorium, and summoned Jesus and said to Him, “ Are You the King of the Jews?” JN 18:34 Jesus answered, “Are you saying this on your own initiative, or did others tell you about Me?” JN 18:35 Pilate answered, “I am not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests delivered You to me; what have You done?” JN 18:36 Jesus answered, “ My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.”

4. Dan 7:14 And there was given Him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

5. HE IS A KING JN 18:37 Therefore Pilate said to Him, “So You are a king?” Jesus answered, “ You say correctly that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” JN 18:38 Pilate *said to Him, “What is truth?” And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews and *said to them, “ I find no guilt in Him.

6. MT 25:31 “But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne.”

HE IS THE SON OF GOD JN 19:7 The Jews answered him, “ We have a law, and by that law He ought to die because He made Himself out to be the Son of God.” JN 19:8 Therefore when Pilate heard this statement, he was even more afraid; JN 19:9 and he entered into the Praetorium again and *said to Jesus, “Where are You from?” But Jesus gave him no answer.

8. MT 22:41-45 Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question: “What do you think about the Christ, whose son is He?” They *said to Him, “The son of David.” He said to them, “Then how does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord,’ saying, ‘‘THE LORD SAID TO MY LORD, SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND, UNTIL I PUT YOUR ENEMIES BENEATH YOUR FEET”’? “If David then calls Him ‘Lord,’ how is He his son?”

9. HE HAS AUTHORITY JN 19:10 So Pilate *said to Him, “You do not speak to me? Do You not know that I have authority to release You, and I have authority to crucify You?” JN 19:11 Jesus answered, “ You would have no authority over Me, unless it had been given you from above; for this reason he who delivered Me to you has the greater sin.” JN 19:12 As a result of this Pilate made efforts to release Him, but the Jews cried out saying, “ If you release this Man, you are no friend of Caesar; everyone who makes himself out to be a king opposes Caesar.”

10. MT 28:18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “ All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

11. How about you, what do you believe about Jesus? Do you just believe what others say about Him or what He says of Himself? The bible tells us who really Jesus Christ is. In John 5:39, Jesus said to search the Scriptures for they testify of Him and in them you think you have eternal life.

12. After hearing the Jews that Jesus claimed to be the Son of God, in his desperation and when Jesus did not answer his question where He is from, Pilate said to Him, "You do not speak to me? Do you not know that I have the authority to release You, and I have authority to crucify You." The answer of Jesus troubled more Pilate. Jesus answered. "You would have no authority over Me, unless it had been you from above, for this reason he who delivered Me to you has the greater sin." Let us pause from this statement.

13. The question was, "Where are You from?" because he was alarmed that Jesus is the Son of God. He knew that Jesus is not merely human. He should come from somewhere else and not from this world. Also, he found out that He is not guilty of any sin. By listening clearly to Jesus’ answer he would have known the answer. Jesus said that Pilate would have no authority over Him unless it has been given to him from above. Without Heaven’s consent nothing can happen to Jesus on earth. This means Jesus came from Heaven above from where God His Father is. No man can be above over Jesus.

14. Jesus also said He came to testify of the truth. The truth is He is the Son of God who came down from heaven. He was commanded by the God His Father to bring eternal life. "Where is Jesus from?" you would ask. Jesus came from Heaven and took the form of a man to die on the cross as a ransom for us to received forgiveness and salvation.

15. 1 John 4:2 records, "By this we shall know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God." Your belief of who Jesus is should be based on God’s testimony and not on man’s. To deny that He existed before He came down from heaven is to deny He is the Son of God who was in the beginning with the Father. This is the antichrist.

16. Who and where did the child came from? He is Jesus the Christ– He is from and came from heaven. He has a Kingdom. He is a King. He is the Son of God. He has the authority.
