8 New acts on guidance Governmental goal : 95 % from elementary school should complete a secondary education by 2015 2010: 81% completed a youth education Another goal: 50% should complete a higher education Guidance has high priority since 2003

13 To provide guidance to this group of young people into education, employment or other activity designed to ensure that they are pursuing an education in line with their education plan. UUV contacts the 15-17 year olds within 5 working days after the UUV has been informed that the young do not follow his education plan. UUV offers 15-17 year olds a new activity within 30 days after contact is established. UUV shall notify a local authority on young people who do not follow their education plan

14 Tasks in Team Young Providing guidance for young people from 15 to 17 years and offer guidance to young people from 18-24 years Providing guidance for young people about their choice of education, when they have fulfilled compulsory education, and neither are doing or having completed an upper secondary or higher education. Guidance is offered continuously until the age of 25 or until they start in a regular education Mentor Task as support for young people Co-operation with secondary education institutions.

16 Young people at risk in UUV 4 weeks guidance with two counsellors Individual and group guidance Preparation and individual education plan Visiting different schools and company visits Test in reading and writing skills. 85 % completes the course with an education plan that aims to an education. Sport activities to boost up their energy. In risk of dropping out.
