2  Matt and 2 of his friends would like to go to the fair. It costs 5 dollars per person to get in the gate and 1 dollar per ticket. If Matt and his friends want to get in the gate and buy 50 tickets, how much will it cost all together.

3  The equation to my problem is y=$5.00(50x1) X =the number of people Y = the total cost

4 The independent variable is my x which is the number of fair tickets The dependent variable is my y which is the total cost. Y DEPENDS on x So the total cost DEPENDS on the number of the fair tickets

7  Since my data contains points then it is a continuous graph.  You can not purchase 1 ½ tickets, you can only purchase the tickets by 1, 2, 3, etc.So we will not use any of the numbers that are between 1 and 2.

8  A function is where there is one independent value paired with exactly one dependent value.  This means that the x values Can't repeat.  My X values do not repeat, then it IS a FUNCTION!

10 The amount of friends that went with Matt to the fair, it could cost for just her $5 or with up to 5 of her friends –$25 And that is without the fair tickets. I wonder how much that would be…..now add the $50 for tickets
