Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labour on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me and eat what is good, and your Soul will delight in the richest of fare. Give ear and come to me; hear me that you soul might live!” Isaiah 55:1-3

The Guelph Vineyard Love God. Love People. Lives Transformed. So why is this Inward Movement Important ? Spiritual Formation The Process of being conformed to the Image of Christ for the sake of others Journey where we are shaped, changed, transformed from the inside out Experiences need to be processed and reflected on to have long term value and meaning Only God can truly form and transform us False selfs/Personnas need to be dismantled so we can become authentic and true – Get out of Christian activity and become Christlike For the purpose of going outward to love and care for others with a “good news” answer that works!

The Guelph Vineyard Love God. Love People. Lives Transformed. Ephesians 1:16-19a I have not stopped giving thanks for you and remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you a Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, so that you may know him better. I also pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you might know the Hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for those who believe. Is this “Legal”

The Guelph Vineyard Love God. Love People. Lives Transformed. Ephesians 1:2-14 How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He’s the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in Him. Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved son. Why did Paul Pray this?

The Guelph Vineyard Love God. Love People. Lives Transformed. Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we’re a free people-free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free! He thought of everything, provided for everything we could possibly need, letting us in on the plans he took such delight in making. He set it all out before us in Christ, a long- range plan in which everything would be brought together and summed up in him, everything in deepest heaven, everything on the planet earth. Why did Paul Pray this?

The Guelph Vineyard Love God. Love People. Lives Transformed. Ephesians 1:2-14 It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone. Why did Paul Pray this?
